1) ALWAYS follow the template provided for your character type. If there is no template provided for the type of character you want to make then please be sure to post your character application in an organized manner to make it easier for us to read.
2) Be sure to match your Character type with the proper Sub type. This will help you to find the powers that apply for your character without having to read them all. If you want to make a character type that is not listed here then use your best judgment when your create your character and be reasonable with their abilities. In this case an Admin/Moderator will use their own judgment when approving your character.
3) When you reach enough posts to advance to the next Sub-type you DO NOT have to create a new character of that Sub-type. We will simply change your character to match the new Sub-type if you want it and you can create a back story on how you became the new Sub-type if you chose. This is not required if you do not want to. The back story and advancement are completely up to you.

Sorcerer
Good or Evil
Sorcerers have the innate ability to alter matter so long as it still holds some of its original properties. For example they could turn a block of steel into anything else so long as it is still steel. They can not for example turn stone into water. Sorcerers can also summon the elements of fire and lightning. They do not use any other weapons then their magic and do not age. All sorcerers have a focus point on them, such as a ring or a necklace, that they use to focus their powers. They can still use magic if this is taken from them or destroyed but they have little control over their spells and the spells they do cast become much weaker. They have more power then a witch/warlock but can not do all the same types of spells. Long term spells are difficult for Sorcerers as they must concentrate on all active spells, even after they are cast. They do not however need to speak in order to cast their spells and therefore can cast them much more quickly then a witch/warlock.
Shadow Sorcerer

Shadow Sorcerers are exactly the same as normal Sorcerers with the exception that they have become much more advanced. They no longer need a focus point to casts and control their most powerful spells and often use a sword in order to fight more effectively at closer rangers. (Reserved for Admins or members who have at least 500 posts as a Sorcerer.)
Witch/Warlock

Witches/Warlocks are humans that through study have gained powers similar to sorcerers. They rely on words to direct their magic and can do most of the same things as a sorcerer. However, because this power is learned and not innate they do not have the same amount of control, never knowing what kind of side effects may come from a spell because of some misspoken word or phrase. They only need to speak the words and put their magic into them. Unlike Sorcerers they do age and will also use other weapons to augment their fighting. They may not be as powerful as Sorcerers but they make up for it by being more versatile and being able to cast long term spells much more easily then a sorcerer as they do not need to concentrate on their spells after they are cast. Because they need to speak in order to cast spells it takes them longer and leaves them vulnerable to attack.
Warrior
Good or Evil
Warriors are the strongest of all humans. They have no special abilities but make up for this with strength. They can use any basic weapons such as swords, maces or bows and have a strong sense of pride. They have little technical ability.
Scholar
Good or Evil
Scholars are humans that have devoted their lives to knowledge. They are intelligent but not very strong. Most of them have studied advanced fighting styles and use more elegant weapons such as rapiers or bows. They use technique instead of brute force to take down their foes.
Shape shifter
Good or Evil
Generally used as spies or assassins, shape shifters are able to change their physical appearance into any other humanoid creature. They are stealthy and avoid direct conflict. They rely on deceit and trickery to defeat their enemies.
Vampire Sub-types
Lord
Good or Evil
Vampire Lords are the leaders of the vampire community. They are exactly the same as pure blood vampires with the exception that they are much stronger and faster. They can only be killed by stabbing them in the heart, cutting off their head, setting them on fire or with direct sunlight. They can turn any human into a Vampire Mutt by forcing the human to drink their blood. (Must have at least 300 posts as a Pure Blood Vampire)
Pure Blood
Good or Evil
Pure Blood vampires are vampires that were born and not turned from being human. They are stronger and faster then any normal human and do not age. They can only be killed by stabbing them in the heart, cutting off their head, setting them on fire or with direct sunlight. They can turn any human into a Vampire Mutt by forcing them to drink their blood. (Must have at least 100 posts as a Vampire Mutt)
Mutt

Vampire Mutts are considered to be scum compared to Pure Blood or Vampire Lords. They are stronger and faster then any human but weaker and slower then any Pure Blood Vampire. Like a Pure Blood they do not age and are killed in the same manner. They do however have the ability to walk in direct sunlight.
Lycan Sub-types
Alpha
Good or Evil
Lycan Alphas are the leaders of their pack. They are the strongest of the Lycans and have the ability to change from human form to wolf form at will. They can be killed much more easily then a vampire such as any blow that would be fatal to a human or wolf will kill them but they can function during the day and are much stronger and faster then even a Vampire Lord and have highly developed senses of smell and hearing. Pure Blood Lycans are Lycans that were born and not turned from humans. They are stronger then Lycan Mutts and have the ability to change from human form to wolf form at will. Mutt

Lycan Mutts are Lycans that were turned from humans with a bite from either a Pure Blood or Alpha Lycan. Unlike Vampire Mutts they are considered to be equals among Lycan Pure Bloods. They are the weakest of the Lycans when it comes to physical strength but heal much more quickly then other Lycans making them much harder to kill. They are stronger and faster then Vampire Mutts and have highly developed senses of smell and hearing.
Demon Sub-types
Soldier
Evil
Soldier Demons are any demon that has given up the bulk of its powers to live permanently on Middle Earth. They have a wide variety of natural weapons at their disposal such as claws, teeth and spikes. Most have taken a human form so that they can blend in and only take their true form while fighting. They can not use their full strength on Middle Earth. They do not age and methods of killing them vary from demon to demon.
Mentalist
Evil
Mentalist Demons are demons that travel the Middle Earth for short periods of time. They have no natural weapons and instead can become completely invisible to Humans and plant thoughts in humans minds. They manipulate their victims into either attacking their friends or giving up whatever task they are trying to complete. They can not harm a human unless they make themselves visible and in these cases use swords or other weapons to fight. They do not age and killing methods vary from demon to demon.
Arch Demon
Evil
Arch Demons are the most powerful demons in the underworld. They can move freely between the Underworld and Middle Earth and can take any form they chose. They are the generals of the demons and can use any weapon type they chose. Can never be truly killed. When they die on Middle Earth they are reincarnated in the Underworld but can not return to Middle Earth for at least 100 years. They can use any weapon type and have a variety of natural weapons at their disposal. (Reserved for Admins and members with at least 1000 posts with one of the other two demon types.)
Angel Sub-types
Angel
Good
These are the soldiers of the Over world. They have wings that can be used as weapons due to the feathers being harder and sharper then any steel. They can use any type of weapon the choose and can only be harmed by weapons that have taken innocent life or were made in the Underworld. They only ever attack demons and are generally very skilled fighters. They will however defend themselves if they are attacked. They are about as strong as a Vampire Lord and about as fast as a Lycan Alpha.
Arch Angel
Good
Arch Angels are the most powerful angels in the Over world. They can move freely between the Over world and Middle Earth. They are the generals of the Angles, can use any weapon type they chose and their wings are the same as an Angels. Can never be truly killed. When they die on Middle Earth they are reincarnated in the Over world but can not return to Middle Earth for at least 100 years. can only be harmed by weapons that have taken innocent life or were made in the Underworld. They only ever attack demons and are generally very skilled fighters. They will however defend themselves if they are attacked. They are stronger and faster then any creature born on Middle Earth. (Reserved for Admins and members with at least 1500 posts as an angel.)
